PVC water supply pipe

Jianhua PVC water supply pipes carry water through municipal, rural and building water networks. The range includes PVC-U, PVC-M and PVC-UH pipes, with the series and pressure class selected for the project.

PVC pipes have a smooth inner wall for water flow and are lighter to handle than many traditional metal pipes. Matching fittings connect straight runs, branches and changes in direction.

PVC-U is the general rigid PVC water supply series. PVC-M uses modified PVC for improved toughness. PVC-UH is a high-performance rigid PVC series with a sealing-ring socket design. These series have separate specifications, so check the required material, pressure rating and joint before ordering. Drinking water use also requires the relevant approval for the destination market.

· Select the pipe series, diameter and pressure class together; outside diameter alone is not enough.

· Use the joint method specified for the selected model. Do not interchange solvent-jointed and sealing-ring systems.

· Keep sockets and pipe ends clean. For sealing-ring joints, check the ring, lubricant and insertion mark.

· Provide even bedding and compact the backfill beneath and beside the pipe.

· Provide designed restraint at bends and fittings, then pressure-test and flush the line using the project procedure.
