PE water supply pipe

Jianhua PE water supply pipes are used for municipal water mains, rural water networks and water transfer. The range includes HDPE pipes and a separate steel wire reinforced PE composite series.

HDPE water pipes combine flexibility with a smooth inner surface and resistance to corrosion in ordinary water service. Straight lengths or coils can be selected where available for the diameter and wall thickness. Compatible butt-fusion or electrofusion joints connect the pipeline.

The steel wire reinforced series has steel reinforcement between PE layers. It is a separate composite product with its own pressure classes, fittings and electrofusion procedure. Choose it from the project design rather than treating it as an interchangeable version of ordinary PE pipe.

· Confirm the PE grade, wall thickness or SDR, pressure rating and compatible fittings.

· Use trained fusion operators and follow the approved heating, pressure, alignment and cooling procedure.

· For electrofusion, prepare the surface as specified. On reinforced pipe, do not strip away the protective layer or expose steel reinforcement.

· Use the specified end protection on cut composite pipe ends, and keep all fusion areas clean and dry.

· Respect the minimum bend radius, provide continuous trench support, and complete pressure testing and flushing before service.
