Introduction to the Utilization Field of Jianhua Plastic PE Water Supply Pipe

The commonly used pipes in various drainage and sewage systems in municipal, industrial, agricultural, transportation and other engineering constructions generally include cast iron pipes, galvanized steel pipes, cement pipes, concrete pipes, etc. Currently, plastic pipes are available. Compared with traditional pipes, plastic pipes have the advantages of energy saving, material saving, light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, smooth and scale free inner walls, simple construction and maintenance, and long service life. PE water supply pipes have the characteristics of light weight, easy construction, high smoothness of pipe walls, low fluid resistance, no scaling, corrosion resistance, and long service life. However, due to the low elastic modulus of PE water supply pipes, their stiffness is relatively low, and they deform greatly under stress, making the pipes prone to cracking and leakage.

The PE water supply pipe includes a polyethylene inner pipe and a polyvinyl chloride outer pipe. Several supporting steel wires are evenly arranged between the PE inner pipe and the PVC outer pipe, and each supporting wire is fixed to the PE inner pipe and the PVC outer pipe through a diagonal mesh. When connecting, a tubular fiber optic humidity sensor is installed between the polyethylene inner pipe and the polyvinyl chloride outer pipe, and several spiral reinforcement ribs are uniformly placed on the inner wall of the polyethylene inner pipe.

A tubular fiber optic humidity sensor is installed between the PE inner pipe and the PVC outer pipe to achieve real-time monitoring of the humidity inside and outside the PE inner pipe. This can effectively avoid the expansion caused by water leakage in the PE inner pipe and solve the problem of PE water supply pipe through local blockage.
